Murder Mystery Machine
Now available on Apple Arcade, PC, Xbox, PS and Switch
Developed by Blazing Griffin, MMM was being released episodically, and I joined the team after the initial episode releases. This was my first time working in a studio instead of remotely, and this helped me see the many cogs that it took to build and constantly develop a story and game. Working closely with the design team, we were able to develop the story to make it engaging and captivating for the player, giving each episode its own mystery and intrigue, as well as a over arching story that would ultimately connect the seemingly random events and make sense of the murders, the violence and corruption that fills the town.
Released as one of the opening games for Apple Arcade, Murder Mystery Machine crosses unique puzzle-solving and deduction gameplay with a narrative that questions the very nature of justice.
It's easy to find the clues but only a true detective can piece them together.
Nominated for the 2021 Scottish Bafta 'Best Game'.
Join the District Crime Agency in this isometric, episodic deduction game. Explore crime scenes in complex dioramas, organize your evidence effectively, and blur the lines between
right and wrong to present your case. Do you have what it takes to be a real detective?
Fresh-faced rookie, Cassandra Clarke, is teamed with a reluctant burnt-out detective, Nate Huston, to investigate the murder of a prominent politician. While all evidence points to a botched robbery, something more sinister is evolving in the corridors of power that send both detectives on a collision course that could end both their careers.
